Identity, licence and vehicle checks.
Review the pickup, drop-off and payout before accepting.
Follow the route, capture proof of delivery, keep your tips.
Driver applications have moved into our worker app, Ryde247 Pro — the website form is retired so every application goes through one pipeline.
The app walks you through the full application in about 15 minutes: account & phone verification, your details, ID and licence checks, vehicle and insurance, background-check consent, and payout setup. Your progress saves at every step, and you'll see your application status in the app as we review it.
Already applied on this website? Your application is on file and still being reviewed — you don't need to apply again.
Getting the app: Ryde247 Pro is rolling out now. Email info@ryde247.ca or call (365) 855-1722 and we'll send you the download link.

Last updated: November 1, 2026.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Ryde247 website (ryde247.ca), the Ryde247 customer and business accounts, and the delivery services provided by Ryde247 Inc ("Ryde247", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, booking a delivery, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Ryde247 Inc is an Ontario corporation providing same-day courier and delivery services in Hamilton and St. Catharines, Ontario. You can reach us at info@ryde247.ca or (365) 855-1722.
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to open an account or book a delivery.
2.2 One account is held per person or per business. Account holders are responsible for all activity under their account and for keeping their login credentials confidential.
2.3 Information you provide — including pickup and delivery addresses, recipient names and phone numbers, and payment details — must be accurate and kept up to date. Incorrect information may delay or prevent a delivery and may result in additional charges (see sections 12 and 13).
2.4 We may suspend or close an account for fraud, abuse of our team or couriers, unsafe or prohibited shipments, or unpaid amounts (see section 17).
3.1 Ryde247 provides same-day delivery of parcels, documents, groceries, store purchases, marketplace purchases, airport luggage, and prescription deliveries for pharmacies, within our service area.
3.2 Consumer service area: Hamilton and St. Catharines, including Stoney Creek, Dundas, Ancaster, and Waterdown. Consumer deliveries are limited to a maximum road distance of 35 km per delivery.
3.3 Business service area: Business and contract deliveries are served according to the terms of each business's agreement with us, and may extend beyond the consumer service area.
3.4 Hours: Our standard service hours are 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., seven days a week. Deliveries booked outside service hours are scheduled for the next service period.
3.5 Delivery times shown at booking are good-faith estimates based on distance and conditions. Same-day delivery means delivery is completed on the day of pickup within service hours, not by a guaranteed minute, unless a priority or time-specific service is booked and confirmed by us in writing.
4.1 Consumer delivery prices are in Canadian dollars and include HST:
| Road distance | Price |
|---|---|
| Up to 5 km | $9.99 |
| Over 5 km to 10 km | $12.99 |
| Over 10 km to 20 km | $17.99 |
| Over 20 km to 35 km | $29.99 |
4.2 Optional and situational charges:
4.3 The price calculated at booking is the price for that booking, based on the addresses and details you provide. Additional stops requested or incurred during the delivery may be charged after completion (see section 12). If the actual road distance materially exceeds the distance calculated from the addresses provided (for example, because an address was incorrect), we may adjust the fare to the correct distance band and will notify you of the adjustment.
5.1 A booking is confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation with a tracking code, by screen, email, or SMS.
5.2 We may decline or cancel a booking that falls outside our service area or hours, exceeds the size or weight our couriers can safely carry, involves prohibited items (section 10), or cannot be completed safely or lawfully. If we cancel a booking for any of these reasons before pickup, any amount you paid for that booking is refunded in full.
5.3 You may edit booking details (addresses, recipient, instructions) before a driver is assigned. After a driver is assigned, changes are treated as a cancellation and a new booking, or as additional stops, as the circumstances require.
6.1 Consumer deliveries are paid at booking by card or another payment method we offer at checkout, unless a "pay later" option is expressly offered and selected for that booking.
6.2 Amounts charged after completion (additional stops, distance adjustments) are charged to the payment method used for the booking, or invoiced to the account, and are itemised in your receipt.
6.3 If a payment fails or is reversed, we may pause further bookings on the account until the amount is settled.
7.1 Business customers book on one of two tracks:
7.2 For invoicing accounts, we issue one invoice per week. Invoices are due 3 days after issue (pharmacy accounts: invoiced Monday, due Thursday — see section 8). On the due date, the card on file is charged automatically unless the invoice has already been paid. We also accept Interac e-transfer — include the invoice number in the e-transfer message so the payment can be matched to your invoice.
7.3 A card on file acts as a backup payment method: an invoice that remains unpaid 7 or more days past its due date may be charged to the card on file.
7.4 Overdue accounts: booking is paused on any account with an overdue invoice until the account is brought current. Credit limits start at $500 and may increase with a history of on-time payment, and may be reduced or withdrawn after an overdue event.
7.5 Disputed charges must be raised within 14 days of the invoice date, quoting the invoice number. Undisputed portions of an invoice remain payable on the due date.
8.1 Ryde247 provides prescription and pharmacy deliveries to pharmacies under these Terms and, where signed, a Pharmacy Service Agreement, which prevails for pharmacy-specific matters including privacy obligations under Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA), under which we act as the pharmacy's agent for delivery purposes.
8.2 Pharmacy route pricing: Scheduled stop $8.99; On-Demand delivery $14.99; STAT delivery $19.99 (STAT is available to eligible pharmacy accounts). Prices are invoiced under section 7 (pharmacy invoicing: issued Monday, due Thursday). HST treatment for pharmacy services is as shown on the invoice.
8.3 Pharmacy delivery rules are non-negotiable:
8.4 The pharmacy is responsible for the accuracy of packaging, labelling, and recipient information. We are responsible for custody of the sealed package from logged pickup to signed delivery or logged return.
9.1 Items must be properly and securely packaged for road transport, and labelled with the recipient's name and delivery address where the item's size permits.
9.2 You are responsible for the accuracy of pickup and delivery addresses, access instructions (gate codes, unit numbers, receiving hours), and a reachable recipient phone number.
9.3 You must not hand our couriers anything listed in section 10. You are responsible for the contents of any sealed package you ask us to carry, and for declaring fragile, perishable, or high-value items at booking so they can be handled appropriately.
9.4 Perishable items are carried only where the delivery timeframe and conditions are suitable; we may decline perishables that cannot be transported safely (see also section 10).
10.1 We do not transport: hazardous materials (including flammables, chemicals, and loose lithium batteries), illegal goods, firearms or weapons, cash or currency, live animals, or perishable food without a pre-arranged cold-chain plan.
10.2 Regulated goods such as alcohol or cannabis are accepted only from licensed senders with proper documentation, and only where delivery is lawful.
10.3 Prescription medications are carried only as pharmacy deliveries under section 8.
10.4 We may refuse, return, or cancel any booking that violates this section, and may open or hold a shipment where we reasonably suspect a safety or legal risk, notifying the sender as soon as practicable. Amounts paid for a booking refused under this section after pickup are not refundable.
11.1 You can follow your delivery on the tracking page using your tracking code. Status updates are also sent by SMS, email, or app notification where contact details are provided.
11.2 Standard deliveries may be completed by handing the item to the recipient or an apparently authorized person at the delivery address, by leaving it at the door where you have authorized leave-at-door at booking, or as your delivery instructions reasonably direct. Pharmacy deliveries are never left at the door (section 8.3).
11.3 Every delivery is completed with proof of delivery: a recipient signature and/or a photo at the delivery point, captured by the driver and attached to the tracking record. Proof of delivery is available in your tracking page and account dashboard and is our record that the delivery was completed.
11.4 Risk in the item passes to the recipient on completion of delivery as recorded by the proof of delivery.
12.1 Our courier will wait up to 10 minutes at pickup or delivery, free of charge, for the shipment or the recipient to be ready.
12.2 Additional stops added to a booking are charged at +$3.00 per stop plus any additional distance at the applicable band.
12.3 If a courier arrives and the shipment is not ready, or the recipient is unavailable, sections 12.1 and 13 apply.
13.1 If the recipient is unavailable, the driver will wait up to 10 minutes free of charge and attempt to reach the recipient by phone.
13.2 If delivery still cannot be completed, the item is returned to the sender (or the pickup point). The return trip is billed at the standard distance rate for the return distance. Pharmacy packages are returned under section 8.3 instead.
13.3 If you ask us to re-attempt delivery, the re-attempt is a new chargeable delivery at the applicable rate.
14.1 You may cancel a delivery booking free of charge at any time before a driver is assigned.
14.2 Once a driver has been assigned and dispatched, the fare is earned and is not refundable if you cancel. After pickup, completed and in-progress deliveries are not refundable.
14.3 If we fail to complete a delivery through our own fault, we will, at our discretion, re-attempt the delivery at no charge or refund the fare for that booking.
14.4 Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
15.1 Report a lost or damaged item within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery time, quoting your tracking code, a description of the item, its value, and a description of the issue. Photo evidence of damage and of the packaging helps us resolve claims faster.
15.2 We investigate claims within 5 business days and will tell you the outcome and any remedy.
15.3 Fragile items must be declared at booking and adequately packaged. Claims for damage to items that were inadequately packaged for road transport may be declined.
15.4 Coverage for loss or damage is subject to the liability limit in section 16.
16.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ryde247's total liability arising from any single booking — including for loss of or damage to the item carried — is limited to the price paid for that booking.
16.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business, or losses arising from delay, except where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
16.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ontario law, including liability arising from our negligence causing personal injury.
16.4 If you are shipping items of significant value, we recommend arranging your own insurance; our liability remains as set out in this section.
17.1 We may suspend or terminate an account, or refuse service, where an account holder breaches these Terms, has overdue amounts, ships prohibited items, or behaves abusively or unsafely toward our team or couriers.
17.2 You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Amounts already owing remain payable, and sections 15 and 16 survive closure.
18.1 We collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Information from pharmacy deliveries is handled under section 8 and PHIPA as applicable.
18.2 We send service communications about your bookings (confirmations, status updates, receipts) by SMS, email, and app notification. Marketing messages are sent only with your consent, and you may opt out at any time.
18.3 Calls and messages with our support team may be recorded or logged for quality and dispute resolution.
19.1 Deliveries are performed by independent contractor drivers engaged through the Ryde247 platform and, from time to time, by members of the Ryde247 team. All drivers complete our onboarding, identity and document verification, and background screening before carrying deliveries, and pharmacy deliveries are performed only by drivers approved for pharmacy work.
20.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is posted on ryde247.ca with its "Last updated" date. Changes take effect when posted; changes to pricing do not apply retroactively to confirmed bookings — the price confirmed at booking stands for that booking.
20.2 Your continued use of our services after a change takes effect is your acceptance of the updated Terms.
21.1 Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Disputes will be brought in the courts of Ontario, unless we agree in writing to another forum or process.
21.2 Severability: If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the unenforceable part is to be read as narrowly as possible to make it enforceable.
21.3 Entire agreement: These Terms, the Privacy Policy, your booking confirmations, and — for business and pharmacy customers — your account or service agreement, are the entire agreement between you and Ryde247 Inc for the services.
21.4 No waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
